These are the key dates & deadlines for MWLTC 2010.  (Updated Feb 21, 2010)

Christian colleges & universities are great supporters of Midwest LTC. In most years, we have multiple colleges send representatives and student groups to the annual Midwest LTC convention to award college scholarships to MWLTC students. In recent years, the total number of scholarship money offered has been tens of thousands of dollars.

This year, scholarship applications are due February 27 March 13, 2010.

To help students who may not have an opportunity to learn from an adult with signing experience, videos have been prepared showing a person signing all the selections.  These selections are available online by visiting the event coordinator's website (opens in new window) and selecting the Video Vault.

The intent of these videos is to help students understand the meaning behind the signs.  The interpretations in the video will be valid for each selection, but are certainly not the only correct interpretations.

The MWLTC 2010 Bible Bowl Study Guide for 2 Samuel has been published. Two files are available -- one for Grades 3-6 teams, and one for Grades 7-12 teams. These two files contain chapter references for the correct answers, but not verse numbers.

The 2010 MWLTC event rules and evaluation forms have been published.  Just point your mouse to the 2010 Event Rules button in the upper left corner.

We're excited to announce a new pre-convention event for 2010:  Short Film (rules)

We hope the Short Film event encourages students to further explore their dramatic and film-making talents in ways that our other events currently don't.  This genre isn't new, but with advancing technology available to so many, this is a rapidly growing medium.  It is easier than ever to reach more people than ever to inspire and strengthen faith with short films.
